Project Overview
GFM currently provides a bundle of soft and hard FM to HomeServe offices, including 24hr reactive maintenance cover, PPM cover for all assets, domestic & cleaning services, portering services, security services and key holding. We work in six HomeServe buildings, including their headquarters, Cable Drive in Walsall, West Midlands.

Overcoming Challenges
The number of HomeServe sites, and the fact that they are dispersed across the country, introduces challenges with efficiently logging and responding to requests. By using a 24/7/365 helpdesk supported by a team of dedicated and experienced advisors, we are able to centralise all requests, triage issues, and ensure the required actions are taken as swiftly as possible.
Lessons Learnt
- Issues are resolved more effectively when our skilled workforce are supported by a specialist mobile engineering team, so we have now implemented such teams nationwide, supporting all GFM sites.
- Success is determined by positive working relationships with the client’s team – as shown by our effective collaboration with HomeServe site management.
