Hotel services in the NHS and private healthcare estates is a specific bundle of disciplines: ward cleaning to NHS National Standards of Healthcare Cleanliness, patient catering with full allergen and nutritional traceability, portering for patients, equipment and specimens, linen and laundry management, and — in some contracts — retail catering for visitors and staff. It sits inside infection prevention and control (IPC) policy, audited regularly, with documented training for every operative. GFM has been delivering hotel services into healthcare for over a decade through PFI contracts originated by parent company Grosvenor House Group PLC, and the same teams now support NHS trusts and private healthcare clients across the UK. Where it’s part of a wider integrated solutions contract, IPC, catering and cleaning all report through a single chain of accountability.
