We are responsible for management and supervision of services, health and safety management, sales and marketing strategy, customer retention, insights and feedback, cleaning and housekeeping, maintenance, and community programming. GFM adopts the principles of continuous improvement and best practice to ensure a safe, enjoyable and beneficial service to meet both the client and user’s needs. We hold Quest and RLSS ATC accreditation.

Running a Leisure Facility Is a Specialist Job

Leisure operations sit awkwardly between hospitality and heavy plant management. The customer-facing side needs trained instructors, clean changing rooms, a working booking system and a reception team that can handle complaints. The back-of-house side needs pool plant operatives, water testing to PWTAG standards, ventilation and humidity control, and proactive maintenance on equipment that runs sixteen hours a day, seven days a week. GFM provides both. We staff and run leisure centres, swimming pools, gyms and sports facilities for local authority, education and private clients, with safety-critical compliance handled by named, qualified personnel. Programming and class scheduling, membership management, and event hire all sit inside the same contract.
